Asian Style BBQ Pork Ribs
Slow roast these ribs and finish them off on the grill with more fabulous BBQ sauce. We serve with a Chinese Smashed Cucumber Salad.- Cook Time 2 hrs in the oven, finish off on the grill
Ingredients
For the BBQ Sauce
- 3/4 c Soy Sauce
- 3T light brown sugar
- 2T seasoned rice vinegar
- 3T garlic, minced finely
- 2T Gochuchang
- 2T fresh ginger, grated
- 2T toasted sesame oil
- 1T black pepper (I use Urfa Biber Flakes)
- (if needed, a slurry of 2T cornstarch/3T water to thicken)
- 2 racks DeBragga Pork Ribs
Directions
- The day before cooking:

Combine all bbq ingredients in a small pot and bring to a boil. Add your slurry and whisk until thick. Cool and refrigerate.

That day: Heat oven to 300 °

Bring ribs to room temp for 2 hours before roasting. Brush some BBQ sauce on both sides of the ribs. Wrap tightly in foil and place bone side down on a rimmed sheet.

Roast for 2 hours, until the ribs are fork-tender. Brush with more BBQ sauce and grill for 6 minutes.

Serve with Chinese Smashed Cucumber Salad.
